Project Overview

FCS Consultants was asked to carry out structural evaluation of the ship loading gantry and conveyor system to include the storage dome located at Port Rhoades Pier, Discovery Bay, St. Ann. The investigation was carried out to verify the condition and structural integrity of the existing gantry structures.

A condition survey was conducted to ascertain the present condition of the structural members and connections. An analyses of questionable sections of the structure was done to determine if the existing gantry structures required any repairs or strengthening in order to support the proposed loads.
